SPORTING SUCCESS
Maddie Carter-Rice (far left) PE Co-ordinator of Pen Mill Infants School in Yeovil, Sally Pitkin (centre), Sports Co-ordinator of Yeovil's Bucklers Mead Community School and Alexis Piper, Somerset Activities and Sports Partnership's Multi Skills Coach, with pupils and their parents taking part in the Multi Skills Club.
The partnership has received funding from the Big Lottery to support Key Stage One Multi Skills Clubs over the past two years. Coaches have been visiting Yeovil Primary Schools leading the clubs and training children and staff. Additional funding has been secured to give multi-skills club goers the chance to receive an activity pack full or resources and ideas for fun games. The first packs were given out at Pen Mill Infant School on Wednesday.
